Maelee Woodworth-Actor, Singer, Musician
I’m a deceptively subtle
powerhouse of a leading actor. I’m drawn to
the beautiful mess of the human condition
— the characters that are too much — yet
never enough. Think Rosamund Pike’s
versatility with Elizabeth Taylor’s intensity
and seduction. I won’t just play the
character, I’ll make sure to lure you from the
wreckage that lives within.
About me
Hey you, my name is Maelee Woodworth. I’m
an actress currently training at NYU’s Tisch
School of the arts. I remember when I was
about five years old watching Hannah
Montana, I thought to myself “this is what I
want to do for the rest of my life.” From that
point on, I started immersing myself in the
arts. I played classical piano from the age of
five and graduated the CMAT testing by
the age of fourteen. I also started dancing at
Li’s Ballet Studio around the time I started
playing piano. Around the age of nine, I
joined the Grammy Award winning National
Children’s Chorus as a soprano and
toured the world with them, performing at
world class concert halls. But nothing
seemed to fulfill me the way acting
does. So in high school I joined the drama
program, and started my journey to
becoming a professional actor. And now
here I am, in New York, pursuing little
Maelee’s dream.
“acting is not about being someone different. It’s finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there.”
